We congratulate our Academic Dean, Myra G. Patrocenio, on the successful completion of a summer internship held at Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from June 19 to July 2, 2026.
The internship was funded by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia, through the Institute for Advanced Studies in Asian Culture and Theologies (2026) program.
This year's theme is "Theologies of Aging: Interfaith Wisdom for Flourishing in Later Life," brought together 21 professors from 8 countries across Asia. Through lectures, mentoring, field activities, peer review, and paper presentations, participants explored aging from theological, psychological, sociological, economic, cultural, and interfaith perspectives.
We are proud of this achievement and the meaningful contribution it brings to our institution's ongoing engagement with interdisciplinary and interfaith scholarship.
